The Sound Samples page has royalty free samples of classic synthesizer, organic and found sounds to use in your music production. Alright, I switched up the samples page and now it has it’s own category for future development purposes. I have added more free sound samples from the moog modular that are sweeter than a cherry pie with Redi-whip topping.

Tears in the Sahara Audio Uploaded

Happy 4th! The Audio design section is featuring new music from Tears in the Sahara, an experimental indie rock band from Tampa Florida. They fuse together organic and electronic rock and roll. They will be releasing a new cd very soon and we have a few songs on Blue Distortion for you to check out.

There are now free samples / resources up on the sound design page. Feel free to use these in your production if you are interested. The samples are from the Emu Modular, Moog Modular, Waldorf Microwave XT and processing through the DP4. There are also some random home recorded samples and drums.

This website, excluding the messageboard, has been checked and found to be valid HTML 4.01 Transitional. According to the validator, I did this to show my readers that I have taken the care to create an interoperable Web page. Isn’t that exciting?

PHP is cool, Myke death threats

I have redesigned the site a bit and am now using PHP for navigation! In other news, Myke from Depressing Music had his life threatened on the messageboard. Not like this is really crazy because all of us here at Blue Distortion want to kill him, however, we don’t even know who it is!
