Tim Reed - A Nonfunctional Teapot Today we feature Tim Reed who has the electro-acoustic ambient sounds down to a science, quite literally. Tim has a PhD in composition from the University of Florida and currently teaches music theory and composition at Manchester College in Indiana. The work A Nonfunctional Teapot echos mangled samples of what I assume is teapots and other strange sound recordings based around the theme. These manipulations weave in and out creating a very interesting composition reminiscent of the great John Cage or Karlheinz Stockhausen. Please download and enjoy.
